Day type

In Market Profile terminology, days can be broken down into various types according to the shape of the profile graphic. TPA uses the following types in a database. You may change these type designations if you wish, since they were generated by a computer and are not 100% accurate in all cases. Further, the definition of each of the types is occasionally subjective. In addition, the day type dialog in the commodity database editor allows you to define up to 8 custom-defined day types of your own. Click on any day type to get a mathematical definition of how TPA defines this type. Note that a given day may have more than one type, as they are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
