Note contains <text>
Use the note contains question to search for text notes that have been added to a particular trading day. These notes can be anything that PTT, Inc. has added (such as Fed easings and tightenings) or anything that YOU want to add for a particular trading day.
Example:
Look for Fed ease days.
Questions from Traders:
When did the Fed ease? Can I put in my own notes to the trading day? (Absolutely!)

Answers:
Our note contains search yielded 8 times that the Fed eased between 10/91 and 7/94. The important point here is that, by using the notepad icon on the TPA Toolbar or the Edit|Database menu, you can add notes to any day in the database and later search for days whose notes contain a particular phrase. Are you an astrology buff? Put in the moon and planetary cycles and youll be able to check market behavior on key astrological dates. Traders and economists can put in extensive commentary during the day and later go back and search to find those days which fit a desired pattern.
Profile Analyzer Hint: Any phrase or string of letters may be searched for in a Note contains question. For example, if the note reads "Fed eases," you can find it by searching for "Fed eases," "fEd," or even just "eas." If you check Case sensitive, then "fEd" will no longer give a match.
Profile Analyzer Hint: When a profile graphic is displayed in a Profile window, you can easily view key information about the corresponding day by clicking the right mouse button once. To view notes made about any particular day: Click the right mouse button one time. Choose TPO information, etc. from the menu that appears. Then choose the News & Notes tab to see economic news and notes for that day.
