Answers:
The search shown above found that the market violated the second support level on only 118 days out of a total of 628 in our three year database. We then used the Refine function in the Search Results window to find out how this translated into closing price levels. Our first refined search was for the number of days when the market, having violated second support , closed below the second support levels: this occurred 54% of the time. We made a different refined search to test for how often the market closed below first support levels once the second support level had been violated. Our results for closing below first support on these days was a whopping 71% of the time. From this example you can see how, by using a variety of questions, price levels and refined searches, you can construct a detailed matrix of percentages for how trading is likely to develop either over the course of the day or from one day to the next. This is the kind of edge that you can only get from The Profile Analyzer .
