Expectations

Choose the performance of the currently selected economic news item, if appropriate or known, relative to expectations prior to its release. PTT, Inc. supplies this information for a subset of the economic releases reported within TPA's commodity databases.

Options available are:

Higher than expected: the indicator performed better than expected

As expected: the indicator performed according to expectations

Lower than expected: the indicator performed worse than expected

Unknown: the performance is unknown

[Don't care: for a question, ignore the expectations]
