Custom Questions
Asks a custom question .
Custom questions are combinations of other questions (with the blanks already filled in). They may be saved in disk files, usually with the file extension .QDB. The last custom question file you used is automatically loaded by The Profile Analyzer when it starts up. The contents of a .QDB file may be viewed or modified using the custom question editor .
A custom question can be asked later with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. TPA gives you two opportunities to define a question as custom, either a) in the Analysis window where you pose the question (before it is answered) or b) in the Search Results window, after it has been answered. You can avoid repetitive operations by customizing your favorite questions. Since a custom question is just a question, it can be combined in turn with still other questions, custom or otherwise, to perform ever more sophisticated analyses of the market data.
Custom questions that explicitly refer to any period letter (e.g., <?> <?> <?> tops/bottoms ) can only be asked again for the commodity that was current when the question was first asked. Custom questions that do not refer to period letters (e.g., Value area) can be asked of any commodity database.
