About The Profile Analyzer™ Help

If you are not familiar with Windows in general, and with Windows Help in particular, it would be a good idea to select the Help|How to Use Help menu item for an overview/tutorial by Microsoft, the creators of Windows.

The TPA hypertext Help system makes extensive use of pictures in providing assistance with the many features of The Profile Analyzer™ . It offers help on each dialog window in the program by presenting a facsimile of that dialog; you can then click on each of the various controls in the window to show pop-up help on the features and functions of that control. You activate the help on a given dialog window by pressing the "Help" button. There is a "Help" button in every dialog window.

Some of the dialogs in The Profile Analyzer™ are quite large; in the lowest-resolution basic VGA mode of 640x480 pixels, they take up much of the screen. Therefore, in order to use the help system to best advantage, we recommend that you resize the help window to a size big enough to see the largest dialogs, or to full-screen size on a basic VGA machine.
