The company currently services clients at approximately 30 prominent financial instutions in the United States and in Europe including investment banks, brokerage companies, commercial banks, mutual funds, insurance companies and hedge funds.
Performance Trading Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1994 by a group of traders and a software engineer. The goal was to produce a software product that could answer questions quickly, that could run on just about any PC or laptop computer, that was blazingly fast, thorough and accurate and that, above all, didn't require anyone to learn computer programming in order to use it. TPA was the result.
With the backing of a joint marketing agreement with The Chicago Board of Trade, the world's largest financial futures exchange, Performance Trading Technologies, Inc. opened its offices in New York City in July of 1997 and began marketing The Profile Analyzer™ to institutional traders, analysts, salespeople and portfolio managers.
